Grilled Fruit To Ease Stomach Discomfort!
Ladies, with Summer only weeks away, you certainly don't
want to be hampered with bloat and stomach discomfort.
One way to alleviate it is with a food often associated with
Easter. The Easter Food: Fresh Pineapple!
That's right- the delicious treat from Dole foods contains
bromelain, an enzyme that aids the digestive process to
help alleviate bloat and stomach discomfort.
So, if you're suffering from bloat or other tummy woes,
buy a fresh pineapple, cut a thin slice from the bottom,
slice off the skin from top to bottom, then quarter or cut vertical
planks. Cutting the pineapple this way allows for perfect slices
that won't slip through the grill grate.
Now that you have your pineapple cut up and sliced,
rub both sides of the pineapple with olive oil and
then place it on the grill, until it has a carmelized look, (both sides).
Serve it with some barbecued pork or with other grilled vegetables
and grilled fruit.
Another tip: Don't overdo the rolls and buns, the alcohol
and the sweets (baked goods) and other pastries, or you'll
continue to fight bloat.
That's it- Your Dole Rx to fight that weighed down feeling.
Good Luck!
