prevent the mishaps that'll derail your Summer.
Mishaps like...Bacne, a jiggly stomach, bugs,
and cellulite. Continue reading, and get some tips for making
this the "Best Summer" ever.
1) A Mushy Middle-
Cure it with some pomegranate cream. Pomegranates are packed
with ellagic tannin, a top-notch antioxidant that boosts
collagen production, smoothes skin texture and firms up trouble
spots without the headaches of doing all that running or crunches.
Look for a product called Pomega5 Healing Cream, online at
Pomega5.com.
2) A Beautiful Back-
Prone to Bacne? (acne on your back) Alleviate it with a salt scrub.
Why salt? The salt sloughs off the dead skin cells that mix with oil
to clog pores-a big problem during hot, sticky weather when
the body's production of sebum increases.
Look for a sea salt scrub called Philosophy Pure Grace, online at
drugstore.com. Or make your own-Mix one part olive oil, one part
sea salt and few drops of lemon or mint essential oil in a clean
jar, Stir before each use. Use once or twice a week.
Another tip: You have to watch the burger, fries, sugary drinks
and desserts made with lots of butter, sugar and white flour,
go easy on the peach cobblers.
3) Foot Odor-
A problem that happens yr. round, but especially in the Summer.
To prevent this, get out your Secret or Arrid deodorant. Yes, Deodorant!
To keep feet sweet smelling, look for a spray deodorant that has aluminum-
based compounds. Arrid XX and Secret Antiperspirant come in spray form.
Spray some on the soles after a shower or bath.
4) Spider Veins-
Surgery may be too expensive in today's tough economy, the
economical solution: More dark fruit. Eating and juicing
black, elder, rasp and blueberries, plums and dark grapes,
reduce the growth of blood vessels that lead to varicose veins.
Dark fruit also strengthens capillaries, improving circualtion.
Look for a product called Liquid Health Complete Multiple,
online at www.NaturalHealthShoppe.com. Or buy the above mentioned
fruits in tea form and steep the bags for 5 mintues, then drink.
5) Cellulite-
The latest culprit that may be causing legs to look dimply?
Dairy. Researchers say some women who've given up dairy for
weeks, have gotten a surprising benefit. The benefit: No more cellulite.
See if going "dairy-free" can help you get the legs, you dream about.

6) Summer Headcahes-
Continue eating the way you did during the Winter, and you're bound to
get headaches. Sweets, loads of white bread and sugary drinks, release
inflammation, inflammation that settles in the delicate areas of
your brain. Take advantage of the fruits and veggies, and you should
avoid the "Summer" headaches.
7) Poison Ivy-
Spending a lot of time outdoors, and you're bound to come into
contact with greenery. Unfortunately, that greenery could be poison
ivy or oak. Look to your kitchen for relief, should you or a loved
one come into contact with the itchy vines.
The kitchen cure: Dish Detergent! Yes, dish detergent, quickly wash the
infected areas of your skin with your favorite dish detergent and you
should see a noticeable difference in the redness and itchiness.
Dish detergent breaks down the compounds that trigger the rashes.
8) A Jelly Fish Sting-
Look to the singer Fergie for a cure. The cure: Apple cider or white
vinegar. Fergie, the lead singer of the popular group "The Black-Eyed
Peas" touts the benefits of a few tsps. of A.C. V. before a meal, to
help with appetite control. Well, now there's another use for
the acidic beverage. To ease the pain of a jelly fish sting.
Bring a bottle or two with you on your next vacation.
If you forget, a lot of lifeguards now carry it in their watchtowers.
So, ask them.
9) Stop The Pests-
Mosquitoes, ants and ticks make the Summer a lot more
unpleasant. For mosquitoes, apply some peppermint oil
to your skin, before heading outdoors. Mix the drops
with some water and spritz the skin. Also apply to the area,
where you'll be dining. Peppermint oil is a lot safer than the
Deet, that's usually recommended.
Also important to keep them away:
Avoid dark clothing, mosquitoes see dark clothing easier.
Avoid fruity and floral fragrances. Avoid Exercise.
Exercising and then remaining outside, is an enticing invite to
mosquitoes.
The bugs pick up the carbon dioxide you're giving off.
Ants- The bane of picnickers Worldwide. Save 4 cans from tuna or
the nuts you enjoy, pick up your picnic table, and set each of
the legs down inside the cans, now fill the cans with water. Ants get
into the cans but can't get out. And not being to get out, means they'll
never make up to the table.
Ticks- Head to the laundry room. Pick up some dryer sheets,
and place in the areas where you keep the picnic table.
Also, put a sheet around your ankle (inside your boots) when
taking a walk or hike outdoors, ticks hate the scent. And lastly, if
you have a dog, place a few sheets around his or her dog house.
Be sure to change the sheets, they lose effectiveness very quickly.
That's it- Some all-natural tips for making it your "Best Summer"
ever. Enjoy!
Good Luck!
