Wild Game and ADHD!
Kids will be going back to school in a few weeks. Unfortunately, some of them
will be diagnosed with ADHD. Also known as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity
Disorder. And of course the first line of action will be... put them on
Ritalin or Adderall.
But thanks to research done by nutritionists and nutrition-oriented
doctors who say... a deficiency of omega-3 fatty acids are sorely lacking
in the typical American diet, not a deficiency of Adderall or Ritalin.
In addition to more omega-3 fatty acids, it's still wise to eliminate the
additives, chemicals and other harmful ingredients that may alter behavior.
And make sure to give your kids wild fish and fish oils (the best sources)
as well as walnuts, flaxseed and rosehips, but also add something different
like "wild game."
That's right- free range and grass-fed beef, chicken, buffalo and pork all contain
omega-3 fatty acids, as well as deer, elk, venison and other wild game.
That's it- So, if your neighbor, brother or husband is a hunter and you've
been giving him grief for hunting "innocent" animals, just remember:
the food they bring home may be saving a child from disruptive behavior,
low grades, underachieving and mood swings, and that's something you
don't want on your conscious.
Good Luck!

For some people, avoiding certain foods or additives such as high fructose corn syrup and certain food dyes can alleviate symptoms associated with ADD. For those that are not getting enough nutrients for their body to produce enough dopamine, consuming fish oils can be beneficial.
However, many people with ADD cannot produce enough properly functioning dopamine regardless of their diet. For these people such as myself, Adderall can make a huge improvement!! The bottom line is get a cure that works.
